Past Vs Past Progressive


Last year for Christmas, when we went shopping with my parents, we were at the center when suddenly I got to buy the lottery, which miraculously did the number I had dreamed strangely past three days an old man approached me offering the lottery, and casually ask what number had won the lottery, when the old man told me the numbers suddenly yell, I win the lottery, that was a luckily day, I ran to my house to get a lottery ticket, unfortunately had lost the ticket in the laundry that had been washed the day before, in the end we were all saddened by the opportunity that we squandered.
